Week 8 and Waiver Wire Deadline

Greetings and welcome back to another edition of the Weekly Wrap-up in MFFL news! Week 8 was business as usual for the most part: GM Brody and the Scoregasms won against a team who had their worst game of the season, GM Michael and Crunching Munchies lost on Monday Night comeback, and GM Darren is pissed at himself for making a dingus move and complaining about all the players that he drafted and then proceeded to drop are going off. If Kelly and the Bums pick back up Valdes-Scandling for $7 then it would be a textbook week in the Millbrook Fantasy League. With a multitude of blowouts this week, a few big changes have been made to the Power Rankings: Mr. Nice Guy:  GM Grafton continues his legendary season with a simple victory this week against the Bums, but more importantly, with a third straight 130+ point. There's no debate here. Hoochie Mamas:  Another exceptional week from GM August and his Hoochie Mamas. The rise of RBs Mack and Chubb show great promise for the Ma...

Week 7: Midseason Updates

Image
The Midpoint of the season is officially upon us and it is time for everyone to take a look onto the horizon as the Playoffs approach ever closer! The temperature has dropped along with the autumn leaves, and with Hoodie season, comes Fantasy Playoff Season. As the playoff push goes into a full blown race, let's check in with Commissioner Pasca who will give us a run down on the Power Rankings, Matchup Highlights, and some important League Updates... if your browser refuses to load the video, you can find it at youtube by clicking the link below: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f4CLRSoZTyU&feature=youtu.be Thanks again to everyone who bothers to check in every week and find out what's happening around the Millbrook Fantasy Football League. Each and every one of you make this league special and may the fun times continue...

Week 6

MR. NICE GUY HAS DONE IT! With the close of the 6th week of the Millbrook Fantasy Football League, Scoregasms, the last undefeated team in the league, fell to superstar studded Mr. Nice Guy in a high scoring affair that made the Patriots and Chiefs jealous. On the other end of the scale, Pasca and the Crunching Munchies' quest for a victory continues to evade their grasp after a tearjerking last second defeat to an Aaron Rodger's classic comeback touchdown. These two and a couple other games caused significant altercations to the Power Rankings Table as we get a sneak peak on what to expect for each of the teams in the second half of the season. Mr. Nice Guy: Eclipsing 130 points yet again and breaking the curse, Mr. Nice Guy is competing with himself in this league, and he is winning.  Hoochie Mamas:  Despite the loss, Mahomes and Saquon continue to ball out of their minds for August and the Mamas. Costly start sit decisions and a questionable bench will continue to hold...

Week 5

Welcome back to the Weekly Wrap-Up, hope everyone had a much better week in fantasy because I have just about had it with this game. Unlike the past years where by week 5, multiple teams have started to break away and three or four tiers of teams have been created, this season remains a very tight knit race. 7 teams currently sit deadlocked at 3-2 for the second best record behind Scoregasms, while the remaining 4 teams are at risk of falling behind if they don't pick things up soon. Let's take a look at the Power Rankings to see what we can expect from each of the team's moving forward. Mr. Nice Guy: GM Grafton breaks Connor's long run at the top of the rankings with another excellent, well rounded performance this week. Despite poor games from Julio and Goff, Gurley and Conner stepped up to the tune of 60 combined points for another victory. The schedule is looking pretty nice for Mr. Nice Guy as long as Conner and Gurley continue to dominate. Ravagn' Rainbow...

Week 4

And then there was one... GM Brody and the Scoregasms stand alone, perfect, atop the Millbrook Fantasy League after defeating the only other undefeated team, Pasca's Daddy. On the other end of the spectrum, Crunching Munchies fall yet again, remaining winless as we enter week 5. The rest of the league is packed in the middle. As we enter the second third of the regular season, the table is still close and open for any one to take the reigns and break out in front, or catch up from behind. Let's take a look at the power rankings and take a look back at our Week 4 performances. Ravagn' Rainbows: GM Connor and his dominant, super team put up another superb showing week 4 despite their RBs catching a vast case of the injury bug. With their entire team in good form, this team should be able to sleepwalk into the playoffs no questions asked. Tittsburgh Feelers:  3 consecutive 110+ weeks has seen the Feelers and GM Matt shoot up the rankings and into 3rd place in the standing...
