Week 7: Midseason Updates

The Midpoint of the season is officially upon us and it is time for everyone to take a look onto the horizon as the Playoffs approach ever closer! The temperature has dropped along with the autumn leaves, and with Hoodie season, comes Fantasy Playoff Season. As the playoff push goes into a full blown race, let's check in with Commissioner Pasca who will give us a run down on the Power Rankings, Matchup Highlights, and some important League Updates...

    What a blog! Brings back the glory days of cool Jams. Low-key a little disappointed with where I fell on the rankings though. But I guess it is a season of proving the projections wrong. Keep picking me to loose, it's working.

    All-in-all, I love the work being put in from the commissioner.

Fantasy Football Season is upon us! The annual MFFL draft occurred last night, August 2, to officially kick off the 2020 fantasy season and delivered way above expectations (much like Cam Akers will). In a hectic draft that featured not only the most ever draft pick trades, a zoom call with some of the most flamboyant managers, and a fully fledged google sheet that automatically updated with each pick, GM Matt of the Tittsburgh Feelers was finally able to make his live draft return after a multi year absence! Week 6

MR. NICE GUY HAS DONE IT! With the close of the 6th week of the Millbrook Fantasy Football League, Scoregasms, the last undefeated team in the league, fell to superstar studded Mr. Nice Guy in a high scoring affair that made the Patriots and Chiefs jealous. On the other end of the scale, Pasca and the Crunching Munchies' quest for a victory continues to evade their grasp after a tearjerking last second defeat to an Aaron Rodger's classic comeback touchdown. These two and a couple other games caused significant altercations to the Power Rankings Table as we get a sneak peak on what to expect for each of the teams in the second half of the season. Mr. Nice Guy: Eclipsing 130 points yet again and breaking the curse, Mr. Nice Guy is competing with himself in this league, and he is winning.  Hoochie Mamas:  Despite the loss, Mahomes and Saquon continue to ball out of their minds for August and the Mamas. Should it Schmatter though? - Week 7

 After doubts of even having a season amid the pandemic this year, the MFFL 2020 season has officially crossed the midway point of the regular season. As surprising as that may be, what is even more unnerving is that the MFFL playoff push has officially commenced, with many teams already on the brink and in dire need of wins now to stay on pace with the leaders. Unsurprisingly, however, is GM Dominic's absolutely abysmal season thus far. The 2020 season for Covid's Warriors started out terribly after a downright dreadful team name created by their manager, and rightfully so, has only gotten worse from there. Sitting at a record of 0-7, GM Dominic and the Warriors have been all but officially eliminated from playoff contention as the last remaining winless team in the league.
